"Land 250" was initially a part of the big 4th international FotoGrafia Festival that took place in Rome. Later it was split in two parts with app. 50 pictures each. One part was shown in Udine and the other part in La Spezia. The exhibit featured photographs that were created between 2001 and 2004, partly during Patti Smith’s travels around the world, partly in her hometown New York. In addition to the subjects already explored in earlier exhibitions it also concentrated on themes of nature (like "Virginia’s River") and architecture.
