This series is based on Pete Frame’s rock family trees book. The parts about Patti Smith feature Interviews with Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty (talking about their days in the Patti Smith group until 1979).
Also included are short clips of the Max’s Kansas City 1974 and Stockholm 1976 footage as well as a very short later unidentified performance.
