Robert Frank, the director of this video, was born in Switzerland. After traveling the world he moved to
the United States in 1953.
He became famous for his series of photographs "The Americans" (1955), a milestone in the
history of photography.
Later he concentrated on film and video, befriended the Beat poets and directed various movies,
among them "Pull My Daisy"
His video for "Summer Cannibals" was and still is shown at many music film festivals and other occasions. It also became
a part of the "Strange Messenger" exhibition.
